Farewell Peter Barda
Peter Barda, CEO of ACIF, is retiring at the end of the year.
Peter Barda, the CEO of the Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF) has announced his retirement as of 31 December this year. Peter has been at the helm of ACIF for as long as most of us can remember and during that time has steered the organisation with foresight, determination and vision.
The ACA express our deep gratitude to Peter and Jill Barda for their enormous commitment and contribution to our built environment, their unswerving support for an equitable and fair Australian Construction Industry and their enthusiastic championing of good architecture.
We wish them well.
The ACIF Executive Committee has appointed Mr James Cameron as the new ACIF Executive Director, and he takes up his position on 1 January. James has recently completed his PhD at ANU, has extensive experience in policy and advocacy and most recently worked for the Australian Institute of Building.
The ACA welcome James and look forward to great things in the future.
