ACA SA BoSP – AI in Architecture

What do Gen-AI, the market for creativity, and monkey copyright have in common? The ACA SA committee is delighted to bring you another insightful Business of Small Practice (BoSP) event, this time delving into the evolving role of artificial intelligence in architectural practice. This timely BoSP discussion is not-to-be-missed.

Join Andrew Lymn-Penning from UniSA as he draws on recent student experiments with generative tools like Midjourney and DALL·E. Andrew will explore how AI acts as a bridge between abstract architectural theory and real-world design outcomes, uncovering ideas that are unexpected, thought-provoking and sometimes even buildable.

Gianni Francisco from Cox Architecture will share the practice’s journey of understanding AI capabilities and how it can be applied in practice. Cox is currently in the early phase of adopting a range of AI-based tools to support their design and technical processes.
