Architects and Builders Round Table
The next ACA – SA Round Table brings together architects and builders to discuss changes and developments in the industry.
At our most recent event in May, we invited financiers and SA construction lawyers to discuss how contracts are formulated and the issues that clients, builders and architects have identifying and managing risk in consultancy contracts. An open and spirited discussion ensued.
At our next Round Table discussion we will meet again with a small group of experienced Building Contractor representatives to continue a dialogue started two years ago. This discussion will focus on what our industry will look like in the next five to ten years.
Key themes will be Integrated Project Delivery, work methods, contractual relationships, BIM and how we work together to maximise the benefits and manage the risk.
