Government Architect NSW has launched a pilot design review program and is seeking highly qualified professionals to be part of the NSW State Design Review Panel.

The NSW State Design Review Panel (SDRP) will provide a consistent approach to reviewing the design quality of significant projects across the state. It will provide independent and impartial advice, which will inform the GANSW recommendations to proponents and the Department of Planning and Environment’s assessment team. The NSW SDRP is part of delivering GANSW’s Better Placed Integrated Design Policy.
The NSW SDRP will comprise a pool of 25 independent and expert members who will be called upon to form panels with expertise in different types of development.

GANSW is looking for highly qualified professionals from across Australia to be part of the panel who represent a variety of skills across design in the built environment, and a diversity of experience and insights.

A briefing session will be held on Thursday 21 December, 9.30–11am, Tusculum, 3 Manning Street, Potts Point.
