SA Christmas Drinks
The ACA – SA Committee hosted our President’s Christmas Drinks on the rooftop of the Darling Building on Friday, 23 November. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon for members to get together and celebrate the end of year.

John Held spoke of continuing support for the ACA and our growth in membership over the past few years. He noted that good design, good business practice, good procurement, social responsibility and exploration of new ways of practicing architecture are not mutually exclusive. Whilst ACA started as an employer organization, it is much more than that, and helps to answer the challenges faced by practising architects in Australia.
The restored Darling Building has been a multi award winner this year and our thanks goes to Williams Burton Leopardi for hosting our party on their rooftop. From here we also enjoyed a view of the construction of the Uniting Communities building on Franklin Street. Thanks to David Burton for providing a guided tour of their new offices.
