Blight Rayner Architecture is a medium-size architecture and urban design practice in the Brisbane CBD. The National Rugby Training Centre is a significant project for the practice and is home to the Australian Wallaroos women’s rugby team and the Queensland Reds men’s and women’s teams. It is designed to recapture the community spirit for which Ballymore was once famous, and is remarkable for being brought in for its $31.5 million construction budget.
Established in 2016, Blight Rayner Architecture has focused on public, commercial, sport and entertainment, school and university projects. With Norwegian firm Snohetta, Blight Rayner is undertaking the New Performing Arts Venue at QPAC, which is well under construction.
