Centred in the regions
The Regional Architects Association is offering ACA members a 15% discount for their upcoming multi-day June event in Yamba on the north coast of NSW. A varied program of activities will include a studio visit, walking tour, engaging speakers, social meals, house visits and a refreshing dip in the ocean.
While regional practices may be physically removed from each other, they often face shared challenges. Centred is an event to bring them together in beautiful coastal Yamba. There participants will discuss how they can influence, advocate and shape the spaces centred in their communities.
Based in Yamba, creative director Louisa Gee is passionate about her local area and championing good design in the regions. She has curated a diverse selection of speakers who will present how they have impacted their own communities, and share strategies to spark ideas for others in their own region.
The RAA’s varied program of activities will include a studio visit, walking tour, engaging speakers, social meals, house visits and a refreshing dip in the ocean!
