COVID-19 Building Industry Guidelines for Victoria
The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) has issued an update of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Guidelines for the Victorian building and construction industry, incorporating recent changes to restrictions and government subsidies.
The primary amendments are to section 3.8.1 to cater for the mandatory wearing of face masks; and section 4.10.1 to reflect the changes to JobKeeper and JobSeeker, as announced on 21 July.
The full revised document is available here. Guidelines have been coordinated by the Building Industry Consultative Council with input from Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Worksafe, amongst others, and should be referred to for appropriate site practices.
