DBP Audit Findings + 5 Key Australian Standards

17 February 2024

Join the ACA NSW/ACT Committee on Wednesday 6 March for an informative presentation on the findings from the Design & Building Practitioner (DBP) Audit. We will also hear the latest from NATSPEC on how to use and document Australian Standards.

The NSW Building Commission has been conducting audits of registered design practitioners for over two years. Jonathan Lynch (Building Commission NSW) will provide advice to architects on the common non-compliance issues found and how this will improve the quality of construction in NSW.

Richard Choy (NATSPEC) will talk to the five key Australian Standards for architects. He will explain the difference in the use of Standards in Australia compared to overseas, and when and why you should document a Standard.
