Earlier this year, the ARBV and NSW ARB released the Deep Dive Report into Systemic Risks in the Australian Architecture Sector. The report highlighted key systemic risks facing architects and architectural practices, which have broader implications for the construction sector as a whole. Dr Dariel De Sousa from Dart Legal and Consulting was involved in the preparation of this Deep Dive Report. Dr De Sousa will bring her extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of regulation, risk, compliance, performance and governance to highlight the key issues arising from the Deep Dive Report for design consultants and how best to detect and prevent (or otherwise manage) non-compliance with the regulatory frameworks.
