Integrated Strategies to Manage your People & Culture

12 October 2023

The ability to hire and retain great people remains as critical as ever. What strategies and management practices can you use to help support your people and projects? Join us on Wednesday 1 November for an informative webinar on how to tackle talent and resource management through uncertain times.

BOOK NOW

This year has been a challenge to navigate, with an uncertain economic environment, a less plentiful project pipeline and changes to the talent pool. How are practices able to increase efficiency and productivity? What should practices focus on? How can technology, data and insights help keep teams working in unison and benefit the management of your talent and resources?

Join the ACA, Deltek and DesignInc Sydney to hear from industry experts and experienced professionals Tara Keast and Scott Huston, as they share their firm’s effective strategies for winning and retaining people. The webinar will focus on trends, challenges and solutions, and how to apply strategies to your own practice.

You’ll learn:

  • The biggest trends and challenges, and how to tackle them
  • How cross-functional team collaboration helps work towards a common strategic goal
  • How technology can improve efficiencies, minimise stress, reduce burnout, and shape an enjoyable workplace
  • How to champion a culture of diversity and inclusion, good mental health, and staff retention initiatives

SPEAKERS

Scott Huston is Head of Knowledge, Systems and Compliance at DesignInc Sydney with over 20 years’ experience in Operations Management and IT. Scott previously oversaw the logistics and project management of DesignInc’s office relocation and fitout. In response to the COVID-19 lockdowns, he swiftly moved the business to a distributed teams / work-from-home model, and was equally involved in the return to office/hybrid model the business is currently operating under. Scott is an invaluable asset to a business’s culture and performance.

Tara Keast is a Human Resource professional with over 15 years’ experience, and currently is the Head of People & Culture at DesignInc Sydney. She is the champion for the health and wellbeing of the DesignInc team, and is particularly passionate about understanding how mental health, diversity and equity impact people both individually and collectively in the workplace.
