Long COVID Research Study

5 September 2022

La Trobe University researchers seek volunteer research participants for a short online study on ‘Supporting Employees with Long COVID’.

Long COVID is affecting an increasing number of Australians who may need workplace support and accommodations. This is largely new territory for business owners, practice directors, managers and HR professionals, but there can be detrimental consequences for employees’ wellbeing and job/business performance if not handled properly.

Researchers in the La Trobe Business School are conducting a confidential online survey to explore how Long COVID is affecting Australian workplaces and how employers are responding. Participation of the online survey is purely voluntary and completely confidential.

We encourage practices to please consider taking the online survey linked above. The more data we have about dealing with Long COVID in the workplace, the better equipped we will be to tailor support for you.

Please note: you can complete the survey regardless of whether you have any direct experience managing employees with Long COVID. The survey should take 15–20 minutes of your time, and you can enter into a prize draw for a $50 gift voucher.

Kindly contact Dr Jennifer Spoor if you have further questions.

The close date for the survey is 30 September.
