Harley Beaumont, State Leader – Business Services, Macquarie Bank

Harley Beaumont joined Macquarie Bank in 2010 and has spent the past 14 years in the Business & Commercial Banking Division. In addition to the teams focus on debt funding of commercial property, the division specialises in cash flow secured lending capability across a range of professional services industries in excess of $15 billion. Harley is currently responsible for the Built Environment segment in Victoria, a specialisation focused on providing acquisition finance, working capital, partner loans and succession planning to these professionals

Daniel Burt, Partner & Executive Director, Taxation Advisory, Pitcher Partners

Daniel has over 17 years of experience across corporate and international taxation issues. He has advised on a number of significant and complex Merger and Aquisition transactions, providing value-add, bespoke advice to his clients on issues such as pre-sale restructuring, tax consolidation, capital gains tax and company losses. In addition, He has also advised on a number of initial public offerings, undertaking transaction structuring, and taxation due diligence services. Daniel also assists clients in relation to the management and resolution of ATO compliance and advice activities, including risk reviews, private rulings and objections. Established in Melbourne in 1991, Pitcher Partners is a national association of six independent accounting, audit and business advisory practices.

Liesl Malcolm, Partner, Pitcher Partners

For the last 15 years Liesl has been an integral part of the Pitcher Partners Corporate Finance team. She has extensive experience in valuations, having worked on many engagements assisting clients with their personal and business needs advising on tax, accounting and litigation matters. A well rounded professional, Liesl specialises in accounting and tax restructures, expert valuation reports for litigation matters, intangible asset valuations for corporate transactions and employee equity schemes. Liesl helps to simplify the valuation process and provides reliable advice, arriving at a valuation that is independent and thorough. She is dedicated to providing a valuation outcome that makes sense and is supported by valuation methodologies and market data.

Matthew Tence, Treasurer ACA Vic/Tas Branch and Practice Manager JCB Architects

Matthew has extensive experience in business and operations management, leading architecture and design practices in Australia. His skills and experience include accounts / finance, resourcing, human resources, fees, contracts, IT, marketing and facilities. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Design – Landscape Architecture. He is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Matthew is Treasurer and Committee Member for the Victoria/Tasmania branch of the ACA.
