Committee Member Profile – Gilda Donegan

In August 2014, the ACA Qld/NT Branch Committee welcomed Gilda Donegan as a new member of the Committee.

Gilda is a Senior Associate with Jackson Architecture, responsible for a diverse range of projects from initial design phases through to project completion. Gilda joined Daryl Jackson in 1997, developing a strong background in architectural documentation control, consultant coordination, construction and project management. Gilda specialises in client liaison, project briefing and construction phase administration, leading project teams from design through to Practical Completion.

Recently, Gilda’s experience has focused on Health and Research facilities including North Lakes Health Precinct, Caloundra Health Services DEM expansion and the UQ CCR HIRF (Herston Imaging Research Facility) Project.

Gilda is currently administering the building contract for the Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine (AITHM) project at JCU, Townsville.

Outside of Jackson Architecture, Gilda has a strong interest in architectural design, awarded a commendation for Small Project Architecture at the Australian Institute of Architects 2012 Brisbane Regional Awards for 28 Smith on Raff, an extension to her own house.
