NSW Land and Environment Court: Special Presentation

16 April 2019

Learn more about the NSW Land and Environment Court and its relevance to architects when the ACA – NSW/ACT presents Tim Horton and Chris Shaw at Club Rose Bay on 1 May.

Our speakers will cover the following topics:

  • The value of understanding the remit and structure of the Court – its objects, the LEC Act and parts of the EPA Act and Regs
  • Resolution through conciliation and the role architects can play in arriving at alternatives
  • Obligations of architects in preparing documents on which the Court relies
  • Thoughts on Good Design in the Act, policy and environmental planning instruments, with reference to the Court’s Planning principles

This presentation is a ‘must see’, so we encourage you to buy tickets early.
