Good workplace flexibility is a core part of improving equity and a key component in developing adaptable practices and individuals. To be truly effective, flexible work must be fully integrated into the life of a practice. This is not an ‘add on’ or just something that is nice to have.

The experiences of the last two years have reinforced the value and necessity of flexibility, and we have all become much better at working remotely and in a distributed fashion. How can we leverage what we have learned for the long term?

What is All-Roles-Flex? How have the Champions of Change practices fared with developing and implementing All-Roles Flex policies? What are the impacts on projects and productivity? What suggestions can they offer others about developing and implementing effective flexibility policies?

How do we ensure that the culture and habits of a workplace support meaningful flexible work? Conversely, how can practices maintain strong cultures when staff are working flexibly in terms of time and/or location? What steps help ensure that those working flexibly remain visible within and connected to the life of the practice? How do we manage the work/domestic balance when the lines begin to blur? How do we switch off and avoid burnout?

Join John Prentice, Dave Tordoff and Emily Wombwell as they discuss the potential and possibilities of flexible work in conversation with Justine Clark and Angelina Pillai.
