Transferring knowledge, building confidence, revealing career pathways, providing a fresh perspective on opportunities and struggles – done well, mentoring can bring many benefits for mentor and mentee. So, what is involved in setting up and managing an effective program? Are informal mentoring relationships enough, or do formal programs improve outcomes for all? What are the obligations and responsibilities? What are the pitfalls, and how can they be navigated? Watch another informative Stepping Up video to find out!
