The recent ACA – Vic/Tas presentation on State School Projects was a great success, with excellent attendance and enlightening presentations on the VSBA process. Now you can download them!
The latest event from the Vic/Tas branch saw speakers explore the processes and procedures of Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) projects, and how NatSpec can assist architects with the management of up-to-date information for specification writing for capital works.
Neville Boyd, Manager of the South East Victorian Region at the VSBA, gave a detailed, in-depth presentation on how the VSBA process works, covering procurement requirements, the tender process, project delivery timelines, and all relevant policies and procedures.
Richard Choy, the CEO of NatSpec, spoke about the important role of NatSpec in the VSBA process, assisting architects to compile clear, concise, specific and logical specifications for all Victorian school projects.
Jennifer Cocks from Minx Architecture gave the architect’s perspective of the process, and fully endorsed the VSBA and Natspec.
