QUT Creative Industries Site Tour

8 November 2016

Join ACA – Qld / NT on the last site tour of 2016 – QUT Kelvin Grove Creative Industries Precinct 2.

The second stage of the Creative Industries Precinct combines a new six-storey five-star Green Star building, a new single-storey studio building and four repurposed heritage-listed military buildings. The design follows the three principles – transparency, interdisciplinarity and connectivity.

The heritage buildings house visual arts studios and workshops, animation and design studios and exhibition spaces. The new six-storey building provides specialist research studios, teaching and performance venues for dance, drama and music, sound recording, and informal social learning spaces for students, and staff facilities.
