QUT survey on Early Contractor Involvement

5 July 2022

A QUT research study seeks architects to participate in a 15-minute survey on ECI infrastructure projects in Australia. Take the survey today!

The Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is conducting a research study on ECI procurement across the Australian infrastructure market. The study is the first of its kind within Australia and aims to provide an empirical understanding of how the integrative mechanics of ECI can be more effectively leveraged by industry to improve project performance. The research is expected to benefit the architectural community by identifying the various elements within the ECI design process that have the potential to directly impact project cost, time, and quality outcomes.

Due to the global project understanding possessed by architects, QUT considers the involvement of the architectural community as pivotal to the study’s success. If you have been involved in the pre-construction and construction phases of an ECI infrastructure project, QUT would greatly appreciate your participation in a 15-minute multiple-choice online survey. The survey is primarily interested in the following project sectors across the Australian infrastructure market:

  • Arts & Culture
  • Defence
  • Education
  • Energy & Water
  • Health & Social Services
  • Mining, Oil & Gas
  • Public Administration
  • Public Utilities
  • Sport & Recreation
  • Transport

Construction management research relies heavily on the participation of industry. Please take the time to participate in this much-needed research from QUT. Upon completion of the survey you will have the opportunity to be entered into a QUT prize draw to win one of ten $100 gift certificates.

Take the survey today!!

Survey closes 31 August 2022.
