Cyber attack, data loss and cyber extortion are top risks for Australian practices. A recent article published on an insurance industry website, highlights the seriousness of cybercrime and the increasing need to protect your business (and family) from it wherever possible. The main take-out was:
Cyber attack, data loss and cyber extortion have been ranked as the top three risks for directors and officers in Australasia by a significant margin, with regulatory risk coming in at number four, according to the latest Directors’ Liability Survey from Willis Towers Watson and law firm Clyde & Co.
Not surprisingly, with current unrest in parts of Europe, the Australian Cyber Security Centre is also telling us that Australia is on heightened alert of cyber attacks.
