September Webinar - NCC 2019

5 September 2019

Are you across the detail of the 2019 National Construction Code (NCC)? Join the ACA and the ABCB on 25 September for an informative webinar on the latest changes. BOOK NOW!

On 1 May, the 2019 edition of the National Construction Code (NCC) was adopted by all states and the Northern Territory. For those practitioners working in the ACT, NCC 2019 was adopted on 1 June 2019, with some exclusions.

If you missed out on the NCC seminars outlining the 2019 changes earlier in the year, or still have questions about the changes, now is your chance to hear more in our ACA Insight Webinar on 25 September.

The adoption of NCC 2019 represents a major milestone as the first of the three-year editions of the NCC and therefore contains a significant number of changes.

Australian Building Codes Board Director, Graham Moss will talk you through the detail of some of the key areas for the NCC 2019. There will also be time for questions if there are other areas you’d like to have clarified.

Learning Outcomes

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the background and detail of selected changes to Volumes One and Two of NCC 2019;
  • Apply new NCC provisions, including those for occupiable outdoor areas and accessible adult change facilities, when designing buildings; and
  • Recognise differences between an AS 2118.1 sprinkler system and a FPAA101D/FPAA101H sprinkler system.
