St John’s Mental Health First Aid Training
The SA branch is proud to offer members the opportunity to participate in the St John’s Mental Health First Aid Training at a reduced price.
This 2 x 6 hour course will be run exclusively for ACA members. Course participants will learn how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health issue or crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan.
This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals, and is externally accredited through Mental Health First Aid Australia.
The cost of this course is usually $250 per person; however, as part of our commitment to the Architects Mental Wellbeing Forum, ACA – SA will contribute to the cost of each ticket, reducing it to $125. A maximum of 18 people can attend this course, so don’t delay in booking!
