Sydney BoSP with Kate Fitzgerald
Join the ACA NSW/ACT Committee on Friday 13 September for another informative Business of Small Practice (BoSP) event. Hosted by the Stanley Street Gallery in Darlinghurst, the event will feature BoSP founder and Whispering Smith Director Kate Fitzgerald.

Kate is Vice-President of the ACA WA and champion of recent medium density advocacy in that state. She is also co-host of the In-Detail podcast. Whispering Smith blends traditional practice with development and an entrepreneurial spirit.
BoSP attendees will hear Kate’s frank discussion of growing her business over the past 13 years, including the highs and the lows. She will discuss the evolution of her practice into the development sphere – both an economic venture and a chance to “put her money where her mouth is”. She will share how she shows clients, policy makers and governments the potential of medium-density infill type housing to address the current housing crisis.
Kate will also share her extensive knowledge of Australian property markets and how these interact with the economy, population growths and housing supply to reveal potential development opportunities. This on-the-ground experience means she can support her advocacy work with built evidence.
We will wrap up the evening with food, drinks and a chance to catch up and connect. This will be a wonderful night. Don’t miss it.
