Sydney event – Becoming fearless in practice
Join Michael Lewarne and the NSW/ACT committee on Wednesday 27 April for a presentation on reshaping practice and exploring new possibilities. Don’t miss our first Sydney face to face event for the year. BOOK NOW!
We all have stories we tell ourselves. The stories that allow us to hide from our fears. Stories that justify our inaction and maintain the status quo. We all do this. Practice is challenging and university and employment doesn’t always prepare us for the challenge. In this talk, Michael will discuss better frameworks, different mindsets and introduce new stories that start “We can if…”. It’s a talk about finding new possibilities in practice, being courageous and becoming remarkable.
It’s a talk for architects in practice who wonder if there’s a better way to do what they’re doing. It’s for architects starting their own practice. It’s for those wanting to reshape the practice they’re in.
Michael Lewarne is an architect and coach. He helps architects rethink their practice and supports them as they uncover better ways to work. He’s worked in architecture for over 25 years, running his own practice for 14 years and understands architectural practice from the inside out. Michael believes improving practice takes asking hard questions and deep listening.
Michael is the Director of unmeasured, a committee member of the ACA – NSW/ACT branch, and facilitator of the Architects Mental Wellbeing Forum in NSW/ACT.
