Update on the Federal Industrial Awards 2020 Pay Rates Review

17 June 2020

The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has delayed handing down its decision on the minimum wage rates this year due to COVID-19.

The FWC has not advised a date by which the decision will be handed down, although it is anticipated to be during this financial year.

Most employer groups have advocated for a zero percent increase due to COVID-19. The unions are seeking 4% increase, which is lower than what they would normally seek.

The ACA will advise developments as soon as they occur.
