WA Branch Launches Wellbeing Forum

22 February 2021

The WA branch is proud to launch the Architects Mental Wellbeing Forum on Wednesday 3 March.

The AMWF began in the UK in 2017 and has become an important forum for the discussion of issues related to mental health within the architectural profession. The ACA is pleased to support the forum as part of our commitment to enhancing architectural work environments across Australia.

The launch of the AMWF is intended to provoke conversation and we have invited three speakers to do just that:

  • Angelina Pillai is the ACA’s CEO and key driver behind the AMWF in Australia.
  • Brian Clohessy, Head of People and Character at BVN, is a leading expert on workplace culture and will share evidence-based research on the benefits of creating a strong supportive culture in your architectural workplace.
  • Michael Gay, Senior Architect at Coniglio Ainsworth Architects, will draw on his own experience to illustrate the importance of maintaining good mental health.
