The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) came into operation on 31 March 2022. These new laws will impact the way we practice on site and in the office, and we encourage all members to familiarise yourselves with the changes.
To help us understand the impacts, we have engaged Jackson McDonald to provide an overview of the legislation and its potential ramifications for architects. In a 1.5-hour session, legal expert Renae Harding will explain the key changes introduced by the legislation, her current experience dealing with the Regulator and what she thinks businesses need to be focussing on in light of the new legislation.
