Welcome David Brian and Kevin Gerrard
The QLD/NT branch has announced the appointment of two new Committee members.
Kevin Gerrard has been with Bickerton Masters since 2005. In that time, he has led the delivery of several landmark projects for the firm including Somerville House Junior School and Boarding House and QE2 Jubilee Hospital Elective Surgery Expansion and is currently coordinating the refurbishment of Catholic Healthcare’s Villa Maria Hostel in Spring Hill, and Alzheimer’s Queensland’s new Mt Gravatt Dementia Care Facility. While Kevin’s architectural experience spans Health, Aged Care and Education, his expertise is in managing his team and project stakeholders. He has very strong construction knowledge and is a mentor to many of the students and graduates within the Bickerton Masters team.
David Brian is a Design Director with dwp in Brisbane. He has more than 18 years of design and project management experience, and a rich background in leading health, aged care, education and industrial projects. He has played key roles in managing and delivering complex, large projects. As a result he has a deep understanding of the contribution that built form makes to the environment, particularly with regard to community infrastructure. David works nationally and internationally with all dwp studios to lead innovation, research and management of large projects. He enjoys the challenge of a complex brief requiring innovative solutions and integration of energy efficient initiatives.
