Welcome NSW/ACT Committee Members
The ACA – NSW/ACT Committee is delighted to welcome four new elected committee members: Justine Money, Ivana Simkovic, Fabricio Siqueira and Jennifer Crawford.
Justine Money
Justine (above left) founded Noho Architecture; she is a British-Māori-Australian architect who brings a strong cultural sensibility to her practice. As an experienced architect and businesswoman – who has worked in various capacities in the profession since 2001 – Justine understands the magnitude of each client’s investment, both financial and emotional, and positions herself as an expert guide, steering clients through what might appear to be a daunting process. As a qualified Passive House Designer, Justine positions herself as a leader in the design and delivery of sustainable homes and buildings, with a focus on human comfort and health; energy and resource efficiency; and affordable design and construction costs.
Ivana Simkovic
Ivana (above right) is an Associate Design Director with dwp. She is a design-oriented architect with 20 years of experience in architecture, urban design and interior design. Her experience spans a broad range of sectors and project scales including education, masterplanning, civic, workplace, residential, health and commercial projects in Australia and Europe. Her commitment to design excellence shows through her innovative thinking and design review processes to ensure projects achieve the best outcomes for the client.
Fabricio Siqueira
Fabricio is an architect with 18 years of post-graduate experience in residential and commercial projects, across all stages of the development cycle, having worked for small, medium and large companies. His qualifications include a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning; and a Master’s Degree in Property Development. Since 2015 he is practicing as an independent professional, working mostly with renovations, new homes and small to medium scale multi-unit residential development. The daily challenges of managing projects independently motivated him to get involved in discussions about the future of our profession. He is especially concerned with the lack of understanding from the public regarding the role of the architects in the development process and a biased construction culture that often portrays architects in a negative way. Fabricio migrated from Brazil to Australia in 2007 and subsequently becoming a proud Australian citizen.
Jennifer Crawford
Jennifer Crawford is a registered architect and certified Passivhaus designer with a background in residential design, having worked for architectural practices, builders and developers. She has a keen interest in improving the environmental performance of houses and housing for the mass market. She is also passionate about architecture as a business.
