Consult Australia Future Leader Program – ACA discount
The ACA and Consult Australia are pleased to offer ACA members access to Consult Australia’s highly regarded Future Leader Program at the member early bird rate, as part of our ongoing collaboration under the ACA–Consult Australia Memorandum of Understanding.
Designed for emerging professionals with leadership potential, the Future Leader Program helps participants develop the communication, leadership, commercial and strategic thinking skills needed to lead people, projects and influence across the built environment sector.
Delivered through interactive workshops, industry mentors and a real-world industry project sponsored and judged by government, the program provides a rare opportunity to learn alongside peers from architecture, engineering and advisory firms, building valuable cross-disciplinary networks and perspectives.
The Brisbane program (run at a Brisbane CBD location) will commence in September 2026 and run through to March 2027, with Thursday evening sessions designed to fit alongside full-time professional commitments.
Participants will explore topics including:

- Contract and risk management
- Financial confidence for leaders
- Stakeholder and government relations
- Negotiation and communication skills
- AI and emerging leadership challenges
- Career planning and professional growth
A flagship capstone project undertaken sees participants break into multi-disciplinary teams, supported by mentors in the development of solutions to a real-world challenge, set and judged by a leading government agency.
