What is the ACA Pulse Check survey?

Launched in March 2020 to track the impact of COVID-19, the ACA Pulse Check has evolved into a key barometer of practice across Australia. Now in its eighth iteration, it provides an important snapshot of how practices across the country are performing. Each year the Pulse Check helps us build a stronger longitudinal picture of the profession, helping us understand the pressures practices face and the opportunities ahead.

Why is it important?

Your voice matters!  In 2026, as practices continue to navigate challenging conditions, your input provides the evidence base for advocacy with government and industry, ensuring the realities of practice are clearly understood. Share your insights and experiences today.

What do you need to know before you start?

Please complete this survey once per practice. If your practice operates across multiple states or territories, please complete a separate survey for each state/territory in which you operate.

Responses should reflect your practice as at the time of completing the survey (24 March–2 April 2026).

All responses are strictly confidential and will be de-identified prior to analysis, and no individual or practice will be identifiable.
