ACA General Meeting – February 2026

The ACA invites members to an online general meeting on Wednesday 11 February 2026 at 4.30pm AEDT to consider amending its Constitution to separate Branch and National President roles. Your participation is vital in shaping the future of the ACA and supporting a sustainable and effective model for our officeholders.

4.30pm ACT, TAS, VIC, NSW | 4pm SA | 3.30pm QLD | 1.30pm WA

The ACA proposes a constitutional amendment to Rule 19(1) to separate the Branch and National President roles. This responds to the growing scale, complexity and governance demands of the association, as well as the increasing professional load on officeholders who currently manage their practice alongside Branch and National responsibilities.

The National Executive Committee has carefully reviewed the proposed changes to voting procedures to ensure fairness and balanced governance. The approach preserves equal representation across all Branches and clearly defines the National President’s voting role. Your support and engagement are important as we work together to strengthen the ACA’s governance and leadership into the future.

The ACA needs your help to achieve this change.
