Networking and support for small & emerging practices
The Small & Emerging Architectural Practice Coffee Club (SEAPCC) is a relaxed, regular gathering for architects navigating the early stages of practice and the ongoing challenges of small business. Join these monthly meetings for caffeine and conversation in the Melbourne CBD, or start your own group closer to home!
Designed to complement our Business of Small Practice (BoSP) events, SEAPCC offers small, emerging, and young architects a chance to connect through regular monthly morning meetings. Members meet over coffee at a central Melbourne café to share information, discuss pain points and develop collaborative solutions. The group provides accountability, responsibility and valuable support.
Hosted by ACA VIC/TAS committee member Redmond Hamlett from WHDA, meetings are structured to maximise value and to meet the needs and interests of those who attend. Discussions can be confidential on request, and the format can be duplicated in any city or regional town. Scroll through Redmond’s LinkedIn for a roundup of sharable past conversations.
Upcoming September 2026 Meeting, presentation by Regina Kaluzny from A.RK Studio. To join or for further information, please contact Katherine Ygosse at victas@aca.org.au.
Are you looking to start your own SEAPCC in your city or regional centre? Please reach out for an information pack to help get you started.
