SPEAKERS
Paulo Macchia
Paulo Macchia is a registered architect and holds a Master of Sustainable Built Environment. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) and leads the NSW Housing Pattern Book and the Sustainable Building SEPP at Government Architect NSW. Paulo regularly chairs design advisory groups and a range of state significant design competitions. In 2024, he won the AIA National Leadership in Sustainability Prize.
Matt Travis
Matt Travis is a registered architect and Principal Design Advisor at Government Architect NSW. He was a key contributor to the delivery of the Low-Rise Housing Pattern Book. Matt brings a strong focus on housing solutions that foster community and deliver quality neighbourhoods. His work supports better design outcomes through practical, scalable strategies for residential development.
