SPEAKERS
Tony Holzberger – Principal Architect, Sunshine Coast Council
With over 30 years in the construction industry, Tony advises on architectural and urban design outcomes across council policies, master plans, and development applications. He leads the design delivery of capital works and champions good design through community and industry advocacy. Tony is the co-author of the award-winning book, Sunshine Coast Design.
Emma Healy – Principal Architect, Moreton Bay Council
Emma brings 20 years of experience across housing, healthcare, and institutional projects, with nationally and internationally awarded work. Her career spans research, teaching, project management, and running her own practice focused on sustainability and community-led projects. She currently serves as Principal Architect in Development Assessment at the City of Moreton Bay.
Liza Neil – Principal Architect, Moreton Bay Council
Since 2021, Liza has led analysis, strategy and policy for Queensland’s newest city. She has decades of experience in sustainable and award-winning architecture and is passionate about design that responds to place, people and climate. Liza’s work spans across practice, academia, advocacy, and community engagement.
Mark Tendys – City Architect, Ipswich City Council
Recently appointed to Ipswich’s City Design team, Mark brings more than 25 years of private practice experience. As the city prepares for rapid population growth, Mark advocates for architecture and design as tools to shape quality development outcomes, continuing Ipswich’s strong legacy of heritage and urban character.
