The contemporary AURA luxury apartment project was a significant project for the Ardex Australia team. Ardex has been involved since the early design stages, with 14,000m2 of ARDEX WeldtecTM WPM 750 and ARDEX Tile Adhesive applied for all internal waterproofing requirements.

Project Information
With over 371 apartments spanning across 29 storeys, the AURA embodies contemporary luxury apartment living, with generously spaced interiors, lavish textures, and panoramic views of the city and harbour skyline.
The project is designed by Woods Bagot with interiors handled by Richards Stanisich. These residences offer exclusive lifestyle and five-star amenities including sophisticated interior finishes, expansive pool and gym facilities, resident-only sky deck, and a 24/7 concierge. The glass facade was designed to reflect the city’s skyline and its most iconic landmarks and landscapes.
Unique Elements
The Ardex Australia team has been involved since the project’s early design stages to provide solutions for application methods and detailing, which transitioned to on-site support and training. In total, over 14,000m2 of ARDEX WeldtecTM WPM 750 and ARDEX Tile Adhesive have been applied for all internal waterproofing requirements.

ARDEX WPM 750 is a WeldTecTM Internal Undertile Waterproofing Membrane, compliant to AS4858:2004. It is heat-welded at the laps and seams to create a superior sheet membrane with a consistent thickness. Flood testing, tiling, or screeding can begin 60 minutes after membrane installation.
