Risky Business 2022

6 July 2022

Join the ACA and our expert speakers from Thynne + Macartney and Planned Cover on Wednesday 20 July for a CPD webinar to discuss current legal and insurance issues and their practical application to architectural practices.

Curated and hosted each year by our ACA Qld/NT Branch, this is always a popular CPD event. We hope to see you there!

Insights from legal, insurance and practitioner perspectives will help raise your awareness of current issues and how this risk can be managed for your own practice. John Moore (Partner of Thynne + Macartney), Karen Meiklejohn (State Manager QLD/NT, Planned Cover) and David Brian (Design Director, dwp) will share their knowledge and experience with a focus on topics to be vigilant about now and into the future. Topics of discussion include:

  • Limit of liabilities from sub consultants
  • Government contracts and unlimited liability
  • Cladding claims
  • Water claims (flood advice)
  • The issue of noise (including flight paths)
  • We look forward to you joining us for this session.
